Nutrition Education

About Nutrition Education Program (WNEP)

Included in the Family Living Program is the Wisconsin Nutrition Education Program (WNEP), which also offers a variety of classes in the community. WNEP is supported by the USDA Food Stamp Program, UW-Extension, FoodShare Wisconsin, and local partners. The education included with this program covers food security, food resource management, and healthy nutrition. Theresa Wimann is the Nutrition Education Coordinator for the program. Nutrition Educators are Mary Monroe-Erdmann, Julie Roseberry, and Sharon Volkening-Wolfe.
